| Lead-Free Solder Our Aoki’s Lead-Free Solder products are manufactured with virgin metal processes through Aoki’s proprietary viscosity and dross lowering treatments which create the purest, lowest drossing and highest fluidity solder. The Lead-Free Solder is then alloyed and cast in a closed-loop injection system which leaves it free of cast-in impurities and included oxides. This enhances its low drossing characteristics. Our Aoki’s Lead-Free Solder Bar undergoes a special treatment where the oxides of the solder “dross” are removed. While the solder is melted, the oxides are less than half of the conventional solder. Moreover, the surface of the solder can be kept clean for a longer period, which can greatly improve the working condition and the quality of the product. |
Technical Specifications
Aoki’s Lead-Free solder is the ideal companion product for all soldering systems including Hand-Soldering, Auto-Wave and SMT-Reflow Soldering. When used to solder Surface Mount Technology (SMT), fine pitch, or densely populated boards, the lowest defect rates and highest number of solder joints per pound possible are achieved. Aoki’s high purity and fluidity reduces rework by minimizing bridging, icicling and other causes of defective joints and can be used at a lower operating temperature.
